Outdoor Ceremonies at Hyde Barn

11 Aug 2014

Our location nestled between the small market town of Stow-on-the-Wold and the river side Bourton-on-the-Water boasts fabulous scenery. A perfect backdrop for a gorgeous outdoor wedding in the sunshine. Here is an inspirational look at some moments alone in the Fosse Manor garden, drinks on the Hyde Barn terrace and outdoor ceremonies at Hyde Barn …

Emma and Phil’s styling worked fantastically with the spring wedding season! as you can see , they chose floral sprigs  on our neutral Chiavari Chairs which gave an effortless Cotswold style.

The little touches such as the hand made favours for all of their guests, made this day so memorable for us, and I’m sure all of the guests. It’s fantastic to see the couples personalities expressed, from Emma’s beautiful shoes to Phil’s performance to kick off the evening fun!!

We were also lucky enough to hold the wedding of Lisa & Dan at Hyde Barn in July 2014. Their big day was so dreamy with blushing pinks and soft whites as their key colours which looked absolutely stunning! Navy suits are a rising trend this wedding season… and one that the Hyde Barn team have fallen in love with.

Having an outdoor ceremony was very important to the couple when choosing Hyde Barn as their wedding venue. Despite being very nervous of rain, Lisa & Dan were lucky enough to have fabulous sunshine all of their wedding day.

One of Lisa’s favourite moments was “Walking out and seeing everyone stood up. There is a great photo of me and my dad walking down and I have such a happy smiley face!!”

Lisa’s top styling tip would be to keep things simple, although she loved her floral display on our Arbour (me too!!). For more Hyde Barn wedding inspiration please follow us on Instagram and Pinterest… We are addicted!!

Here’s a HUGE Thank You to the talented Ben Roberts at www.bloomingphotography.co.uk for providing us with some of his fabulous outdoor shots of these couples’ weddings.   Lots of Love, Hyde Barn xx
